Day 01

Arrival At Thimpu

There will be a tour manager to welcome you to the wonderful Kingdom of Bhutan. After greeting, you will be escorted to the Tourist Entry Permit immigration for the permit process, make your first stop to visit Kharbandi Gompa about 5 km above Phuentsholing on the way to Thimphu. This monastery was founded in 1967 by Phuntsho Choden, the Royal Grandmother. After that drive straight to the hotel at Thimpu for an overnight stay.

Day 02

Thimphu: Enchanting local sightseeing

After breakfast, you will be taken to Kuensel Phodrang, also known as Buddha Point. This place contains the largest Buddha statue in Bhutan. From Buddha Point, you can enjoy panoramic views of the valley. You will then be taken to the King's Memorial Chorten. This place is important for pilgrimage, and you can see pilgrims walking around turning the prayer wheels. Visit the National Library and Zorig Chusum (usually known as a school of painting) after lunch. Then you go to visit Tashichho Dzong later in the afternoon (The fortress of the glorious religion), the government-run Handicraft Emporium and local craft bazaar will spend the evening time.

Day 03

Paro: Transfer and local sightseeing

You will be taken to Punakha Dzong, the Palace of Great Happiness, after breakfast. This is the place where the River Phochu and the River Mochu join. Next, you will be taken to the Fertility Temple, Chimi Lhakhang. On top of a small hillock, this temple is situated. This temple is believed to have the authority to give children to couples who pray in the temple. Next, a road trip will take you from Punakha to Paro. The journey takes four hours and you will drive along the Douchu La Pass, Paro City, Wang Chhu River Valley and others during the journey. Before reaching Paro, you'll stop 4at Simtokha Dzong. Simtokha Dzong is a palace that hosts the Tantric Academy. You'll be checked into a hotel once you hit Paro.

Day 04

Paro Sightseeing

You will visit Taktsang Monastery on a road trip after breakfast. The Tiger's Nest Monastery is also called Taktsang Monastery, which is situated 900 metres above the base of the valley along the sides of a mountain. It takes five hours to complete this road trip and the walking path to the monastery. After that, you will be taken to Ta Dzong, a watchtower, which is a museum of art and artefacts, in the afternoon. A large collection of historical objects, paintings, weapons, textiles, and others is housed in the museum. Drive to Drugyel Dzong after lunch, a ruined fortress where centuries ago Bhutanese warriors battled Tibetan invaders, and now it is being rebuilt by the government. With that visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. The construction of this temple marks the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan. An exploratory walk in the evening around the main street and market, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05

Paro Departure

You will check out of the hotel after breakfast. This is the end of Bhutan's 5-Day Itinerary. You will be escorted to the airport by your tour representative to catch your flight.

What all documents do I need to carry during real-time travel?
At the time of your travel, your identification is must along with required permits while you travel within your native country. If you are crossing international borders by air, road or rail, we recommend you keep your passports, visas and necessary documentations and permits ready for customs and immigration clearance.
Is it safe enough to travel post COVID-19 Pandemic?
We prefer recommending packages and hotels which are safety certified by local tourism board. But we strongly recommend keeping your precautions on as always as we all need to be safe.
