Day 01

Arrival at Leh

You will be escorted to the hotel after we pick you up at the Leh airport. On arrival at the hotel, you will be given welcome drinks and snacks. Spend your day at the hotel, have lunch and enjoy the spectacular views of Stok Kangri, Zanskar Range and Ladakh Range from your room and take a walk at the hotel garden. Acquaint yourself with the region as it is 3500 metres from sea level, you can relax and have dinner at the hotel.

Day 02

Sightseeing

Today after having breakfast, you will take a ride to the west of Leh. This region is filled with prominent spots such as Sangam, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib, Hall of Fame, Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. The first destination will be the Sangam view, where it is a confluence of Indus River and Zanskar River. You can do rafting or spend time enjoying the views. Next, you will reach the famous monastery called Alchi (one of the 7 wonders of the world). While returning, you will visit Magnetic Hill, famous for photography. Next, you will enjoy the tea at Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, located at the highway. Your next destination will be Spituk monastery known as Kali Mata Mandir. The day comes to an end by visiting the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to Kargil soldiers. The car takes you back to the hotel, where dinner is served.

Day 03

Drive along Nubra Valley

You will drive to Nubra Valley en route to Khardung La pass after having breakfast at the hotel. Take a look at the Nubra Valley, also called Valley of flowers recognized as the warmest place in Ladakh. Located at 3000m altitude, you will find Khardung la pass surrounded by snow kissed mountains, camels crossing the sand dunes in the desert and lush greenery. We shall proceed towards Nubra after spending some worthwhile moments at Khardung La pass. We’ll do a camel safari and relish dinner at the camp/resort fixed for overnight stay at Nubra.

Day 04

Pangong via Shyok

We will start the day by adhering the same route towards Leh until we reach Khalsar. As soon as we reach Agyam bridge, we shall take the left route leading to the villages of Shyok and Durbuk. The route is free from heavy traffic but some road patches shall make your journey worthwhile. After Durbuk, we shall proceed left towards Tangtse and following the traditional route. Driving further to Pangong Lake, one of the largest and most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas will lift your spirits up. Its an amazing lake, situated at 14000 ft, yet most of it lies in the Chinese Territory and only one third part lies in India. Explore the blues here, and you might catch some rare wildlife too. After spending two hours here, we will drive back to Leh, which will take around 4 to 5 hours. You shall have dinner and take rest at the hotel.

Day 05

Airport Drop

After having breakfast at the hotel, our car will drop you at Leh airport. Your journey comes to an end, where you shall take back a bag full of lasting memories and a camera loaded with vibrant pictures.

Once the partner confirm your booking, you’ll get a voucher as well as an email once you pay the amount to the partner and if the booking routed offline via Desperate Traveller, we confirm it offline for you and help you with the voucher and the invoice which can be validated and the assistance will be complete delivered from our end.
How can I make a hotel booking for a destination/hotel/package not listed on the site?
For that, we would request you to please follow the telephonic, email or the contact form protocol and we’ll note down our preferences to upgrade our inventories and will assure you a deal for your preference too.
What all documents do I need to carry during real-time travel?
At the time of your travel, your identification is must along with required permits while you travel within your native country. If you are crossing international borders by air, road or rail, we recommend you keep your passports, visas and necessary documentations and permits ready for customs and immigration clearance.
Is it safe enough to travel post COVID-19 Pandemic?
We prefer recommending packages and hotels which are safety certified by local tourism board. But we strongly recommend keeping your precautions on as always as we all need to be safe.
Can I change my hotel booking?
Yes, if you wan to change the name, passengers, or dates within the hotel itself, you can depend upon the hotelier’s sole discretion and if the change is request for the complete hotel, it needs to be cancelled and re-booked and only cancelled if the hotel refunds else the booking will stand non-refundable until hotel authorizes the refund.
